Montclair Snap Memories is a documentary project examining suburban life in Montclair, New Jersey. The series focuses on youth culture, racial diversity, and social division within a town often characterized as progressive and unified.
Photographed across public streets, schools, and local gathering spaces, the work reflects on adolescence shaped by social media and evolving forms of human connection. The project considers how identity, belonging, and anxiety are negotiated within an interconnected environment.
Montclair Snap Memories presents an intimate portrait of growing up in the United States today, showing the complexity and vulnerability of contemporary youth.
