Tyler Chan is a Chinese-American photographer from Chinatown, New York City. His documentary practice focuses on contemporary communities across the United States, the Netherlands, and China.

His work has been exhibited internationally at institutions including
the Nederlands Fotomuseum, Montclair Art Museum, and Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen, and published by The New York Times Magazine, i-D, Billboard, XXL, Complex, and Variety.

Alongside long-term documentary projects and commissioned work, Chan
maintains an active teaching and public-speaking practice, leading workshops and artist talks internationally.
